It was the start-up FBT (Future is a better world) that won Klimhouse Future Award 2020 with Fybra the sensor that detects air quality in offices and schools.
It is also an essential product because we have been affected by the coronavirus, I think any tool to fight it is important to save people’s lives.
Unfortunately Covid 19 is infecting millions of people around the world, there will probably be another wave in autumn/winter, Fybra is a sensor based on an algorithm capable of optimizing the harmful microorganisms produced by humans.
This algorithm uses artificial intelligence to signal when air is dangerous to our health, telling us when to open windows so as to change the air.
Fybra is a sensor Made in Italy and 100% produced with recycled plastic, it complies with environmental standards. A study done by 2 doctors (epidemiologist and preventive hygiene specialist) in collaboration with Fybra, demonstrates the correlation between air quality and Covid 19 contagion reduction, basically when algorithm says that the air is polluted emits a sound and light signals, communicating to people the need to open windows.
Features:
- Decreases the spread of bacteria/viruses
- Reduces bad smells
- It’s easy to install
- Improve the ability of workers to be concentrated
- Increase productivity at work
I would add that this algorithm makes a calculation about how much C02 develops in a school or office reducing bacteria by 40%, and also through the company’s software it is possible to have air quality data under control.
Fybra sensor is sold with a monthly subscription, on the site there is no official price (you have to make an email request), someone writes of a cost between 2/5 euros per month, without contract constraints.
This company has been ingenious and innovative, producing a product that can grow not only in Italy but in the world, but can reduce the bacteria and the risk of contagion from viruses.
