After a few months of testing I review the Huawei Mate 30 Pro smartphone, the contents of the box features : transparent silicone cover, 40 watt chargers that fill up 70% in 30 minutes and a little more to get to 100%, (sold separately Huawei Supercharge 27 W) wirelesss and C-type Usb cable.
At the design level I was impressed by the quality of the 6.35-inch curved Oled display with 1176 x 2400 pixel resolution, the edges of the screen are not noticed and once turned on, the browsing experience is very pleasant; I emphasize that there are no buttons to increase/lower the volume since they are virtual and are activated by touching the curved side of the screen; personally I do not like it because if I’m in the race or in the car and I want to increase the volume can make me distract (never do it when you drive !!!).
The Huavei Mate 30 Pro has the IP68 certificate so it is resistant to dust and water, not just given the times and daily rhythms. At the hardware level,i can say one of the best smartphones in the category, the processor is Kirin 990 octacore 2.8 Ghz, power is guaranteed by 8 Gb of Ram memory and 256 Gb of internal memory and wanting expandable. Connectivity is LTE 1400 Mbps, blutooth 5.1 and NFC present, on the front of the screen there are sensors for 3D unlocking while under the display there is the optical fingerprint reader.
Let’s move on to the photo, Huawei Mate 30 Pro has 3 cameras where the main one has a 40-megapixel sensor with optical stabilizer, the 8 megapixel rear one stabilized and finally front camerawith wide-angle sensor 32 megapixel that for enthusiasts like me photography allows to make photos with a blurry background while the person to be “immortalized” is perfectly focused.
The photos are great even in special light condition as in backlight or night mode, the videos are not bad , in 4K there is a decent stabilization, definitely implementable. This smartphone has the EMUI 10 version without Google services ,in fact dear users you will not find Playstore, to install the apps you have to use the Huawei store (App Gallery) is a simple operation but I advise you to pay attention to viruses (recommend Bitdefender for free while paid version 9.99 euros/year) since the permissions come from unknown sources.
The Gallery App is not the best , wanting there is another store like ApkPure where you will find numerous applications, among the most popular (Google Maps, WhatsApp, Facebook) as said before some feature problems you may encounter compared to Playstore otherwise the use apps is like on any other device.
Score: 7/10
