Here we are, after several months I go back to doing tests, today I will do the review of the Xiaomi Mi 11, a top-notch smartphone that will surely be Oppo’s rival, OnePlus and Samsung.
Until a few months ago I did not consider the Chinese brand Xiaomi then after several feedback from some of my friends computer engineers I decided to try Xiaomi Mi 11, presented in December 2020 but then launched globally in February 2021.
Xiaomi Mi 11 is a real top of the range at a price given the very competitive features, as storage space ranges from 8 Gb /128 Gb/ 256 Gb instead for Chinese market they produced this phone with 12 Gb of Ram.
Technically we find an Amoled panel with 120 Hz refresh rate, max brightness 1500 nits and a screen size of 6.81 inches, very large but if you take it in your hand you will have nice sensations.
The material is of excellent quality, this phone has been assembled using the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and I guarantee that it is very durable compared to many smartphones in the competition.
Xiaomi Mi 11 has three cameras: 108 Mp, 13 Mp and 5 Mp, the smaller one allows you to take larger shots and closer than the lens. What surprised me is the night mode of the videos because in low light conditions the Xiaomi Mi 11 went beyond expectations.
For the camera there are several ai-based modes of use such as “Cinema Ai and Erasure Ai”.
Xiaomi Mi 11 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor with 30% faster speed than other models and 20% lower consumption. Doing the speed test felt like I was on an aerospace rocket, I put Tradestation, Amazon Video and another app but i didn’t find any problems. I also don’t know why but this smartphone has been certified by Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing which is free software for voluntary distributed computing.
Operating system we have Android 11 with the latest patch updates, the speakers (Harman Kardon) are great and you can find by watching a streaming video or making a video call on Whatsapp.
Xiaomi Mi 11’s battery is 4600 mAH with 55W cable charging capacity, 50W wireless and 10W bilateral charging so you can use your phone as a power mat to charge other devices.
